Space

I take photographs inside my house and of my house as the space empties and clears. The house, the walls, the space and various corners are all depicted using clean, minimalists lines, light and shadow, shapes and angles that create mystery. Sometimes this emptiness leads to abstraction, aided by the largely monochromatic color scheme. The emptiness isn’t purely physical; the empty house is the empty being. Life in this house is solitary, with all that that entails. I tell the story of a nest that has emptied and is now being filled with a different life.

אני מצלמת בביתי ואת ביתי תוך פינוי וריקון החלל. הבית, הקירות, החללים, פינות שונות בו מצולמים בקווים נקיים ומינימליסטיים, תוך שימוש באורות וצללים, צורות וזוויות, שיש בהן מן הנסתר והחידתי. לפעמים הריקון הוא מעשה הפשטה ומתווסף ומוסיף לכך גם הצבע אשר ברובו מונוכרומטי. הריקון הוא לא רק ריקון פיזי, הבית הריק הוא ההוויה הריקה. חיים יחידניים בבית על כל המשתמע מכך. אני מספרת את סיפור הקן שהתרוקן והמתמלא בחיים אחרים.
